Tips for Families visiting Disney World

TIP for souvenirs - Kmart carries Disney stuff, toothbrushes, shampoo and other items. Almost every Wal Mart and Kmart in the Orlando area has a souvenir section. Great Disney souvenirs at a fraction of the cost. Buy your T shirts and hats there also. The Dollar stores also have some great Disney souvenirs. Also remember to take an autograph book and pen, for the kids.

Weather - The weather in Orlando is hot, and kids and your family will burn quickly - sunscreen, sunscreen sunscreen! . It also rans almost every afternoon in the summer - Purchase some cheap light weight disposable ponchos before you go into Disney World Park. If you have a stroller, remember to get a rain cover for the stroller. Little handheld fans with misters are also a great thing to have.
