You will dive, soar and plummet through the air.Whether a guest chooses to ride or not it is a additional attraction  to Orlando. You can just look into the floor to ceiling windows to stare face to face at over 300 rays, thousands of fish, oceancreatures and every type of rays.Check out shark rays, spotted eagle rays.leopard rays, cownose and river rays.Try not to get swept away from the lighting show and the amazing sounds of waterfalls and the underwater sounds.

Walking around at city walk  our family was starved.. We had a large group and everyone had to agree as to where we would all eat.We, on a whim went to the NBA Cafe. The food was amazing .Everything from shrimp to juicy hamburgers was fresh and large portions. We loved the huge screens showing vintage footage of past games, past players. Service was right on. I was so surprised to find this at a themed restaurant  at a attraction in Orlando Florida.

off site disney stay

May-23-2008 By margo

My family stayed at the Regal palms Resort near the Walt Disney Park.We first of all cold not believe the savings. We traveled in a large group. The 4 bedroom townhouse was huge.We had such a good time just sitting together around the amazing pool. The waterpark and lazy river helped to make the vacation even more affordable. We did not go to Disney as many days as planned. My sister n law used all the spa services.. We had stayed on the Disney property  before and found it very expensive. We now feel that every time we visit Disney we are going to find off site deal.

AQUATICA!

May-21-2008 By Elyse

What’s the Newest Attraction in Orlando?

The much anticipated, newest addition to Orlando’s attractions finally opens its doors. Aquatica, Sea World’s new take on the traditional water park, is amazing guests from all over the world. Aquatica has become so popular that they have been closing their gates to the public as early as 10:00am multiple days a week. Aquatica is attracting not only visitors to the Orlando area, but all of the locals as well. So if you’re planning on visiting this unique South Seas experience, get there early!
What’s the reason for this popularity? Aquatica features 36 water slides, 6 rivers and lagoons, and more than 80,000 square feet of sandy beaches. If the size alone doesn’t wow guests, the parks exhilarating water slides are unlike any other you will find in a typical water park around the world. Aquatica’s Dolphin Plunge takes riders on an adventurous passage through the black-and-white dolphin’s marine habitat. The rider slides through a clear 250-foot long tub as if they are swimming alongside those fun, agile creatures. Equally exciting, Aquatica is home to the world’s only side-by-side wave pools. They can either operate together or independently, creating a fun experience for any water enthusiast of any age.
Aquatica creates a playful sea experience, mixing animal encounters with the world’s newest take on the typical water slide. Aquatica is the perfect attraction for any family visiting the Orlando area!

Hannah Montana Concert

May-8-2008 By admin

ORLANDO Florida Miley Cyrus returned to the showstage for a recent concert in Orlando, Florida, but did not say anything about the recent controversy over her Vanity Fair portrait.

The 15-year-old star of Hannah Montana performed several songs at the Saturday concert that will be included in the Disney Channel Games series on the Disney Channel.

Cyrus didn’t attend Friday’s red-carpet party for the games at Disney’s Epcot Center, where she would have faced questions from the media but who can blame her she’s just being a kid!

Cyrus has said she was embarrassed by the photo, which shows her wrapped in a sheet with her back exposed.

She spotted a sign in the crowd Saturday that said, “Miley I’m praying for you,” and she responded: “I can’t be more appreciative of that.”

Saturday’s concert also featured performances by the Jonas Brothers and the Cheetah Girls and eveyone was really enjoying themselves to good clean fun. What a great opportunity for parents to allow their kids to enjoy some dancing and music that’s themed around what thekids like to do and yet everyone enjoys it!

With Orlando the home to Walt Disney World so many people identify this whole show as a hometown experience..they really got what they were expecting and more…typical for Disney showmanship!

The Moose Convention

Apr-24-2008 By Rose

I recently attended a Moose convention at the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive in Orlando Florida and I was thrilled with my accomodations at the Vista Cay Resort. Friends of ours told us about the resort and that they enjoyed the entire experience and recommended the company that booked their orlando vacation, trip2orlandousa.com. The location was so convenient, my wife was able to drop me off within 5 minutes of leaving the villa and be at Sea World or Universal Studios in 10 minutes. The accomodations were spacious and clean, well-lit, comfortable and beautiful. The kids loved the pool and all the many supervised activities available to them. We will definitely be coming again to this beautiful resort whenever we come to the Orlando Disney Area.

Vacationing in Orlando, most people don’t think of shopping, rather it’s common to hear people talk about visiting Disney, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. However, if your an avid shopper looking for a thrill (and not in the harness of a roller coaster, but prefer the clutching of a shopping bag), then Orlando’s Mall at Millenia is your pearl in this sea of attractions!

As Orlando’s shopping scene has blossomed, offering shops and department stores, just like New York City or Beverley Hills, is no longer a remote idea! Chic luxury, style and class is what you’ll find budding at Orlando’s Mall at Millenia. This garden of world class shopping offers boutiques from well known designers such as Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Gucci and countless others including Saks 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s - all under one roof! Similar to walking down Rodeo Drive, at the Mall at Millenia you can stop in at David Yurman, Tiffany’s and Co. or Cartier, and add a quick sparkle to that new outfit you bought!

Don’t worry if your family is too fixated on Mickey Mouse and alligators, because they can always meet you for an afternoon snack or dinner at The Mall at Millenia! You can have the family choose between a variety of casual eateries located in the food court or from the assortment of dine-in restaurants, such as Brio, The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro or McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant. Whatever your selection, your bound to satisfy their stomachs and win their hearts with a delicious meal at the Mall at Millenia!

The guest services counter is just as dazzling as the mall itself. At The Mall at Millenia you may make use of the concierge service that offers you a postal service so that you may mail your packages home or even customize your shopping adventure based upon your wants and desires. If you need to change your Euros into dollars and you feel more comfortable communicating in French, all your needs may be met at the guest services area; all you have to do is ask!

Off the Beaten Path In Orlando!

Apr-16-2008 By Betty

Orlando isn’t just a kiddie playground. On our last vacation, my family and I were tired of the crowds at Disney World and Universal Studios; we craved experience and exploration into the area called Orlando! I packed the family in the car and head down I-4 to the wonder of Downtown Orlando! Cruising down Orange Avenue, a statue of a guy wrangling an alligator caught my eye! Stopping to get a better view, we noticed the Orange County Regional History Center. I thought to myself that is would be a great way for my family to learn about the roots that make Orlando so diverse! Entering the museum, the portraits and exhibits displayed of Orlando’s Seminole Indians and African American history were absolutely amazing! We were shocked to learn so much about Orlando’s rich culture that settled this land before Disney and Epcot were ever conceived!

After our tour into the past, we drove to a town called Winter Park. Like our home town, there was a huge shopping complex called Winter Park Village that was lined with local and big-box shops. We decided to keep the theme of the day going and grabbed lunch in a cute eatery. At the restaurant, our waitress suggested that if we really wanted to capture the beauty of Orlando, to take a scenic boat ride on Lake Osceola. Within a short drive we found ourselves tucked in the back drop of the Winter Park Village, and at the entrance of the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour! Admiring the swaying palm trees and delighted by the warm breeze, I thought to myself, “No concrete, no lines, no hassles; this is what vacationing is all about!”

After our boat ride down the luscious and tropical canals of Lake Osceola, we ended our excursion and headed back down I-4 to our hotel. Sitting in the car, I found myself reflecting about today’s adventure off the beaten path of Orlando. I realized that there is nothing as precious as making memories with you family like spending the day together away from the crowds! I’ll admit seeing your child’s face light up at the sight of Mickey Mouse or Spiderman is a picture perfect moment, but making an everlasting impression in your child’s mind without meet-up times, and overcrowded park benches; that’s the beauty of a family vacation in Orlando, Florida!
